Healthpointe is Now Offering Medical Internships and Training for Undergrad and Graduate Students
Healthpointe is excited to announce that they are now providing hands-on clinical training to medical students along with future medical physicians, nurses, physical therapists and more. Healthpointe provides a wealth of training and volunteer opportunities for individuals interested in obtaining a career in the medical field and for their clinical practice.
The three-month internship program prepares undergraduates and graduate students in clinical competence and is designed to assist individuals in their transition from medical student to clinical practice. The program will consist of one-on-one mentoring and training throughout the entire length of the program. Rotations will also be offered to enhance the knowledge of care and diagnostic design in a clinical setting.
Arrangements are customized for each individual student and based on mentor availability and department acceptance. The internship is well suited for those who are committed in the medical field with huge opportunities for students seeking careers in the fields of physical therapy, orthopedic care, chiropractic care, acupuncture, neurosurgery, clinical psychology and more. Additionally, students who are studying kinesiology, biology, nursing, anatomy and nutrition can also intern at Healthpointe. All internships are located in Southern California.
