New Orthopedic Surgeon, Dr. Chuang, Now at Healthpointe
Healthpointe is pleased to announce orthopedic fellowship-trained surgeon, Dr. Michael J. Chuang, has joined their practice. Dr. Chuang garners extensive experience in the field of orthopedics and specializes in minimally-invasive arthroscopic and reconstructive treatments of the knees, hips, and shoulders. He delivers unrivaled quality care for patients with general and sports-related orthopedic needs.
Dr. Chuang has an impressive background in the medical field. As an Orange County native, he graduated with two Bachelor of Science degrees in Physiology and Neuroscience at the University of California, San Diego in the Provost Honors List. He then received a National Institute of Health Post-Baccalaureate Fellowship Grant in Bethesda, Maryland to perform genetic research on inflammatory arthritis and other bone diseases.
Dr. Chuang’s clinical studies continued at Drexel University, College of Medicine in Philadelphia where he attained the Med Scholar’s Award on his way to graduating with his Medical Doctorate. He then returned to California to complete his fellowship training in Arthroscopic Surgery and Sports Medicine at The Sports Clinic.
Dr. Michael Chuang joins the staff of Healthpointe to solidify their shared goals of building a patient-centered medical group where residents of Southern California will have access to quality orthopedic care.
