Healthpointe Welcomes A New Provider: Dr. Bajaj
Dr. Gurtej S. Bajaj is a board-certified Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation physician and Pain Medicine specialist.
He earned his medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine and completed his internship, residency, and Pain Medicine fellowship through the University of Pennsylvania Health System.
Originally from Orange County, Dr. Bajaj studied and worked in Virginia and Pennsylvania.
“Growing up, I was always instilled with the concept of helping others in whatever capacity I am able to provide. In conjunction with that, I had a gravitation towards human biology and [the] complexities of it. Combining the two [of] these areas naturally piqued my interest in medicine.”
Dr. Bajaj has authored and contributed to numerous peer-reviewed publications and professional presentations focused on chronic pain, spinal cord stimulation, interventional pain management, and rehabilitation medicine.
“I have done a number of case reports in the realm of neuromodulation… Something I hope to grow while here at Healthpointe [is] to provide more options for patients who experience various etiologies of pain.”
Dr. Bajaj specializes in evaluating and treating spine disorders, chronic pain, nerve injuries, joint pain, musculoskeletal injuries, and complex pain conditions using both conservative and interventional treatment options.
In his free time, Dr. Bajaj enjoys watching and playing basketball and hiking. His favorite team is the Golden State Warriors. Dr. Bajaj will be accepting new patients at the La Mirada, Anaheim, Colton, Irwindale, Long Beach, Los Angeles, Ontario, and Temecula Healthpointe offices.
