Board Certified Neurologist and Pain Management Specialist Joins Healthpointe
Healthpointe is proud to announce that renowned Neurologist and Interventional Pain Management Specialist, Dr. Saeed Nick, will be joining Healthpointe. Dr. Nick brings extensive knowledge and experience in the fields of Neurology and Interventional Pain Management to Healthpointe, and is prepared to deliver unrivaled quality of care to all of his patients.
The renowned doctor joins the staff of Healthpointe to solidify their shared goal of building a patient-centered neurology and pain management practice where residents of Southern California will have access to care for a wide range of neurological and pain disorders.
As a board certified neurologist, Dr. Saeed Nick sees patients with various neurological symptoms that affect their nervous system and blood vessels, including pain, numbness, headaches, and dizziness, all of which can significantly impact the patient and the workplace. Dr. Nick also assists in treating neurological diseases such as seizures, strokes, Parkinson’s disease, neuropathy, dementia, and syncope.
Dr. Nick completed an ACGME-accredited Interventional Pain Management Fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He is qualified to provide the safest and most innovative treatment methods for the management of pain. He also treats disorders such as complex regional pain syndrome (CPRS), headaches and pain in the lower back, neck, and joints with the aid of medicine and the latest interventional pain management techniques. Such techniques include various minimally invasive procedures, Radiofrequency ablations, epidural steroid injections, peripheral nerve blocks, spinal cord stimulation and intrathecal drug delivery implant.
Dr. Nick has seen and treated patients for over 18 years now, garnering an exponential amount of experience in the medical field. He graduated from the prestigious Shiraz University of Medical Sciences in 1996 with top honors and began work as a general practitioner. In 2009 he completed his internship in Internal Medicine followed by a residency in Neurology at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center. Subsequently, Dr. Nick completed his one year fellowship in Interventional Pain Management at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
Dr. Saeed Nick’s notable accomplishments include being ranked in the top 10% of nationwide applicants on the Iranian Medical School Entrance Examination, which is an exceptionally tough task to achieve. He was also named Louisiana State University Neurology Chief Resident from 2011-2012. He has been active in the field of medical research and has authored numerous articles on the subjects of Neurology and Pain Management.
