About Pain Management Specialists
The Pain Management Program is designed to identify the direct source of pain, and work with patients to develop personalized treatment plans in achieving pain relief and management without reliance on addictive medications. This program is designed for moderate-to-severe cases in which all conservative care methods have bene exhausted, and more aggressive treatments may be considered through minimally-invasive approaches.
Degrees and Education
A pain management practitioner must first complete four years of pre-med education along with four years of medical school, which results in a Medical Degree or Doctor of Osteopathy Degree. They must then apply and pass their state license to practice in a specific state.
A pain management practitioner may also be board certified in another specialty, including neurology, orthopedics, and anesthesiologists
