New Provider Dr. Sean Gao Joins Healthpointe

[LA MIRADA, CALIFORNIA JUNE 2024] — In an ambitious leap forward for our community’s health, Dr. Sean Li Gao has officially joined the Healthpointe team as a new provider, promising to bring innovative, patient-centered care to the residents of Southern California. Dr. Gao stands out by integrating cutting-edge technology with compassionate care, focusing on preventive medicine and the overall well-being of his patients.

Originally from Maryland, Dr. Gao wants to be a spark for healthy change for his patients in Southern California. He is a John Hopkins University alumnus with both a B.S. and an M.S. in molecular biology, and he completed medical school at Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana. Afterwards he completed an orthopedic surgery residency at Grandview Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio. Lastly, he completed a sports medicine fellowship at San Diego Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine in San Diego, California. When he is not treating patients, Dr. Gao enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, hiking, and playing badminton.

“I decided to pursue a career in medicine to help people live longer and more fulfilling lives,” said Dr. Gao, reflecting on his journey and ethos towards healthcare. This wholehearted commitment is evident in his dedication to bringing the latest advancements in orthopedic surgery to ensure his patients flourish.
