Electromyography (EMG) diagnostic procedures are now being offered at all Healthpointe locations throughout Southern California, including Riverside County, Orange County, and San Bernardino County.

As the muscles contract, nerve cells known as motor neurons send electrical impulses throughout the body and dictate whether the muscle is functioning properly or in an abnormal fashion. Electromyography, otherwise known as EMG, measures the electrical signals of the body’s muscles and motor neurons in order to assess their health and sustainability.
